She doesn't answer. He gives up and starts to walk towardsthe newsroom.


 
Spike:  Oh well, itwas only a suggestion.

Lynda:  Okay.

Spike:  (stops) What?

Lynda:  I will if youwill. I believe it takes two.

Spike:  Are youserious?

Lynda:  And you'dbetter be everything you're cracked up to be, after everything I've heard.

Spike:  Oh yeah, whathave you heard?

Lynda:  No bells asyet.

Spike:  Ah, before Ido this... Let me assure you one thing - that when I bring you around I'll doit real gently.


 
They lean in for a kiss when they are startled by Kenny'svoice. Lynda pulls away quickly.


 
Kenny:  Lynda, Iwas... (trails off) 

Lynda:  Ah, we werejust...I was only -

Spike:  Yeah, erm,neither was I.

Kenny:  (looks down onthe sheet) Oh, there it is.
