David:  I gave yousome material I'd written last week, remember? You said you'd read it.

Lynda:  Oh, right. Wasit something I asked you to do?

David:  No. Actually,I'm on the Graphics team.

Lynda:  Well then, whyhave you… 

David:  As I told you,I think I'd be better used on the writing team. Did you manage to have a lookat my work yet?

Lynda:  Well I'm sureI've had…

David:  I ask becauseit's still in the tray where you put it when I gave it to you. 


 
He pulls out a folder from her tray. 


 
Lynda:  May I ask howyou knew it was there? Under that pile?

David:  You were awayfrom your desk. I had a look. Can I ask if you've read it?

Lynda:  You wentthough my tray?

David:  (annoyed) I'msorry. But I'm getting a little sick of doing nothing here but drawing littlepictures

for Julie Craig's Graphics team.

Kenny:  (gets up)David, saw some of that cartoon stuff you did for Julie. That's really good.

Lynda:  Kenny!

Kenny:  I don't thinkyou've met David properly, have you? David Jeffords, he's been with us a coupleof weeks.

Lynda:  We're gettingto know each other.
