 Young Lynda nods. Mrs Williams hands her thewooden carving.

 Mrs Williams: (to Kenny) Now, you're sure you know the way home? Rightthen. Off you go!

 Cut to present day. Kenny and Lynda are walkingnext to each other. 

 Lynda: …and I never went back.

Kenny: So what? A promise you made when you were six years old. Big deal. 

Lynda: Yeah, but it's just typical of me though, isn't it? I mean an old lady…

Kenny: Lynda, you were six.

Lynda:  Ihaven't changed much, have I? Sometimes I think I'm not a very nice person.

Kenny: Well, I like you.

Lynda: You like everyone.
