Spike: Roderick, nice to meet you at last. I'm N.V. Gillespie.

Lynda: (standing) So am I.

Spike: Ah, that's right - so's she.

Marsh: What?

Spike: Ah, we're both N.V. Gillespie.

Lynda: Gillespies.

Spike: Oh yeah, right.

Lynda: We just both happen to work for the same firm, in the same joband havethe same name.

Spike: Yes, it's quite a coincidence really.

Lynda: It is, actually.

Spike:  Ithought so.

Marsh: Something rather odd is going on here. 

Spike: There is? Anything we can help you with?

Marsh: You're both N.V. Gillespie?

Spike: Gillespies.

Marsh: N.V. Gillespie, being someone I've been trying to arrange to appear atthis office for months now, always unsuccessfully! And now I have two of you.

Lynda: Well I hope that makes up for time you've been waiting.

Marsh: Yes, and I now recall I spoke to N.V. Gillespie once on the telephone.And his voice didn't sound like either of yours!

Spike: Ah, well, actually I think there might be another N.V. Gillespie at ourfirm.

Lynda: What?

Marsh: Someone else called N.V. Gillespie?

Spike:  Ithink so.

Mr Marsh: Who?

Spike: Well... N.V. Gillespie.

Lynda: Mr Marsh, I'm absolutely certain that there are only two N.V. Gillespiesat the firm. So I'm afraid you must have misremembered the telephone call. Nowcould we please get back down to business?

 There's a knock on the door.

 Marsh: Yes, Marjorie?

Secretary: There's another one outside.

Marsh: What?

Secretary: (exasperated) Another N.V. Gillespie!
