Philippa: Lynda Day, isn't it? I think we went to the same school. PhilippaPrescott. You obviously don't remember me.

Lynda: Only from the toilet graffiti, but that was mostly in the boys'.(pauses) And the staff's.

Philippa: You know, I heard you were running a newspaper. Obviously not.

Lynda:  Iheard you'd been horribly disfigured in an accident. Bad luck.

Philippa: Do you think you could confine yourself to taking our order? You are a*waitress*, aren't you?

Lynda: Don't talk too soon. It's just possible there's a little more to my lifethan this restaurant.
