Colin:  Hey Lynda! I was just on my way in to seeyou. He’s here. 

Lynda:  Who? 

Colin:  The Mystery Writer! Round you come. 

 

A hooded figure dressed in blacksteps forward. 

 

Colin:  This is Lynda Day, the editor. Lynda, this isthe man himself – the Mystery Writer!

Lynda:  Let me guess. He wants to get paid and you’rehere to handle the finances. 

Colin:  (to the hooded figure) I told you she’dunderstand. 

Lynda:  You bet I understand!

 

She walks over to the figure andpulls the hood off. 

 

Lynda:  Do you understand, Frazz?

Colin:  My God, Lynda, it’s Frazz!

 

She sighs wearily.
