Miss McGuigan: A lizard, you say?

Colin:  Alizard, yes.

Miss McGuigan: Escaped from the science department.

Colin: It’s an experimental lizard. 

Miss McGuigan: Oh… (smiles brightly) Well, perhaps it will find its will outside and besafe there.

Colin: Well, it’s not its natural habitat, Miss McGuigan.

Miss McGuigan: Perhaps it’ll get adopted by a rabbit or something.

Colin: Well, I'm afraid we can’t allow that to happen. You see, this lizard isradioactive.

Miss McGuigan: (worriedly) Radioactive? Goodgrief…

Colin: Exactly. Who knows what size it may be by now?

Miss McGuigan: I wish Miss Hessope was here.

 

He sees the drawer marked ”School Records FirstYear Girls”.

 

Colin: Actually, I'm glad it’s you, Miss McGuigan. I don’t think Miss Hessopewould have believed me quite as easily.

Miss McGuigan: (smiles) Well, you know, you could be right.

Colin:  Ineed to get in here.

Miss McGuigan: I’ll get the key.

 

The door is opened and Mr Sullivan steps in.

 

Mr Sullivan: Ah, Miss McGuigan. Is Rosemary -

Miss McGuigan: (interrupts) Colin thinks there might be a radioactive lizard in thatfiling cabinet.

Mr Sullivan: (looks at Colin) Again?
