[pressgang] Ageism and the Future

I was just reading this sad story about Julia Sawalha experiencing
ageism in the industry:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-53360154

Given that Press Gang was all about giving "a voice for today's youth" I
guess this means we're all officially not young any more.

It got me thinking though - if the Moff did actually get around to
reviving Press Gang, would it be wise to go with the original cast? Can
the stories he told back then be as compelling with a cast of
fiftysomethings?

Or would it be a reboot with a fresh cast, based around digital
journalism? And maybe Steven would pass the mantle to younger writers,
maybe his sons to write the actual scripts?

Just day-dreaming a little. :-)
