Chrissie: You gave it to me to give to Lynda...

Lynda: Look, could everyone please just get into their heads once and for all,I am not going out with Spike Thomson!

Chrissie: ...and I just gave it to Spike.

 

Cut outside. Lynda walks up to theJunior Gazette building and enters the newsroom. The phone is ringing.

 

Sam: There's a message on your desk.

Lynda:  Ican see that!

Jeff:  IsColin selling pizzas?

Lynda: Wrong number.

Jeff: (into the phone) Sorry, wrong number.

Lynda:  (stops at her desk) Hello Spike.

 

He is lying on her desk, theinvitation in his mouth.

 

Spike:  Hello Lynda.
