[pressgang] Brilliant new Midday and Sawalha interview

Glad to hear my posts are reaching everyone.

By the way, in case in anyone wondered what on earth I meant by the subject
line ' Brilliant New Midday and Sawalha interview' -
well, that's spell checking working it's magic.

I love the quote from Julia, where she says she can spot a Press Gang fan a
mile off.
It reminded me of a fan letter I wrote to her at the BBC in the early 90s.
I was at the height
of my PG obsession back then and it obviously showed in my letter as she
wrote me back
a lovely reply which included the line, 'You certainly are a very well
informed Press Gang
fan'. She almost certainly was NOT having a polite dig, but I did feel a
slight sting when I read
it as it made me realise how obsessive I was back then. Whenever I think of
that line now, it
gives me a good laugh.

Julia seems like a lovely person and it especially comes across in this new
interview. Steven too,
is always so witty and charming. It's easy to see where all the amazing
dialogue he
writes originates.

I hope you all enjoy the interview.

I almost forgot to mention that Steven reveals the answer to the big
question about whether Lynda
is dead or alive at the end of There Are Crocodiles. It was certainly news
to me. Is this news
to you all or has he revealed this before?

Does anyone have a BritBox subscription? If so, have you watched any of the
series one episodes?
How do they look? Just like the DVDs or better or worse?
