Spike:  The first thing she says to me, "Keepoff the grass".

Lynda:  I didn't mean that.

Spike:  I know. Just can't stand rooms with roofs onthem - or in them.

Lynda:  You know I tried to get in to see you lastnight. I made quite a fuss.

Spike:  Yeah, I know - I could hear you from twofloors up.

Lynda:  How's the foot?

Spike:  One of a pair.

Lynda:  (smiles fondly) Same old Spike.
