Colin: Yeah, so?

Lynda: Well, it's like you live for your work. Like there's nothing outside ofthat. No social life, nothing. Just what you do. And of course there's your appallingdress sense.

Colin: (defensive) What's appalling dress sense got to do with it?

Lynda: I'm just trying to think of everything we've got in common. The pointI'm making is this; I know how an obsessive behaves because I am one. And Iknow how much it takes to knock an obsessive off the tracks because I've beenthere. If you remember ending up as editor a few months ago, you'll know whatI'm talking about.

Colin: Right.

Lynda: So whatever it is you're going through it's got to be pretty bad, yeah?

Colin: Yeah.

Lynda: And I think I'm the only person who's likely to know that, which kind ofplaces me under an

obligation, doesn't it? I mean us obsessiveshave got to stick together, right?

Colin: You really wanna hear this?
Lynda: No. But I think you should talk to someone. And I think I'm it. Want towalk?
