Spike:  You might have let me!

Sarah:  Sorry, it looks like you're stuck.

Lynda:  It'll wear off. Come on, let's get back tothe newsroom.

Spike:  Hey, no way! I've got to get back and see Zoe!

Lynda:  I have no particular wish to meet Zoe, thankyou.

Spike:  And if I don't get back and explain this, I'ma dead man!

Lynda:  Well, look on the bright side. When she seesyou hand in hand with me you're a dead man anyway. Sarah, pull!

Spike:  Frazz, give me a hand!

 

Spike and Lynda both struggleto drag the other one in their direction. Frazz is helping Spike while Sarah ispulling on Lynda's side. 

 

Lynda:  Colin, you better go on my end!

Colin:  I'll just check inside. (steps inside thevan)

Spike:  Damn it, will you let go?!

Lynda:  I can't - I'm seated with you!

Spike:  Then you're coming with me!

Lynda:  Spike, this is ridiculous. I don't want tomeet Zoe - it's goingto be very embarrassing for me! Sarah, get after Maringo and see if you can getsomething together for tomorrow’s edition. Maybe three columns!

Frazz:  (amused) It's not your average romance, isit?
