David:  Sarah…?

Sarah:  Who's this?

David:  It's David. David Banks. 

Sarah:  David. Oh, I'm sorry, really I am. 

 

Spike, obviously not liking where this is going, empties abox on the floor. 

 

Sarah:  (pauses)Actually, I'm not sorry at all. We had a date tonight, you didn't turn up. Soyou blew it. Tough! I don't think there's anything more to say about that, doyou? No second chances, David! Pity really. I quite liked you. We might evenhave lasted the week. (hangs up)

Spike:  Ah, Sarah. Ijust want you to know that *I* have never been dumped that good.
