Colonel X: That's interesting. Actually Frazz, I was once a fictional character.The diabolical St. John Squareheart used his deadly fictionalising ray on me.

Frazz: Fictionalising ray?

Colonel X: Exactly. I spent two weeks as a minor character in "Hound ofBaskervilles".

Frazz: Of course you did.

Colonel X: Fortunately I managed to escape, along with Desmond Hargrove, anothercharacter from that fine mystery novel.

Frazz: I've read "Hound of the Baskervilles" - there's no one calledDesmond Hargrove in it!

Colonel X: Well, there isn't now.
