Before I release the quote, I'm curious to get any opinions on who you agree with in this exchange:  Spike or Lynda?    I'll give my answer after the quote.*****************************************************************
Lynda:  Ugly day.
Spike:  Yeah.

Lynda:   Did I do the right thing?

Spike:  No… (pauses) Well, I'm off to. Wanna see mehome? It's a rough neighbourhood.

Lynda:  I've got some work I need to finish.

Spike:  Well, get a taxi. No walking, all right?

Lynda:  What the hell do you mean no? What do youmean?

He hesitates a moment before turningto Lynda.

Spike:  Well bringing a good man down, because ofsome stuff that is none of our business! And he's a friend.

Lynda:  It’s not as simple as that.

Spike:  Actually, it is. He's a good headmaster. Thevery least we've done is shoot him in the foot! Because of us, tomorrow theworld is s slightly less good place. And for this we get paid?

Lynda:  If I hold back a story because I think it’snot in the public interest, next thing we’ll be inventing the news! It mattersthat doesn’t happen. I did right.

Spike:  Did you do good?

Lynda:  Yes!
Spike:  No... ********************************************************Honestly, I'm a bit conflicted here, but I'm going to side with Lynda.   The reason is that Mr. Winters opted to make a moral stand on the issue of commitment in relationships.   His hypocritical statement made him fair game.   Remember that Lynda wasn't originally going to touch this story, either, even though she found it distasteful.  This is not an episode where Spike and Frazz come off well, in my opinion.
