Sarah: Nice try, Lynda.

Lynda: Right, okay - leave, why don't you?

Sarah: Yeah, why don't I?

Lynda: Everybody else does.

Sarah: (returns) What do you mean ”everybody else”?

Lynda: Nothing.

Sarah: Fine!

Lynda: My dad.

Sarah: Your dad?

Lynda: Ever noticed any dads around here?

 

Sarah puts her bag down and closes the door.She sits down on the bed beside Lynda.

 

Sarah: You never said anything about this.

Lynda: What am I supposed to say? ”Don't count my parents, it's embarrassing”?
