Hi Vince/all
I’ve always thought the Gary Morris actor sounded weird! I assumed they had to do ADR because outdoor filming often has noises interfere with dialogue. Sarah’s lines don’t sound so ‘fake’ but Kelda might have recorded hers better.
I always also assumed Tommy is a sportsperson, but some kind of soccer/ball sport. I like how Colin’s grandmother forgets her own surname. 😆

The way he stands outside the door repeating his opening line in different ways, reminded me of myself when I get nervous and have to go and ask someone a question but don’t feel confident I will be able to get the words out correctly and in the right order.
> Just before this scene, Kenny tells Lynda that Mr Sullivan “hates me”. No way on earth could that be true. Kenny is completely adorable and no one could ever hate him. Maybe it was just Steven Moffat’s way of showing that Kenny has a low opinion of himself?

> Laura mentioned bad acting in this episode, but the only offender I can see is the actor who plays Sarah’s boyfriend, Gary Morris. In the scene when they are walking along the street together, his voice is clearly dubbed. I assumed this meant that a different actor#s voice was used to replace the actor we see on screen. However in a later scene at the party, the actor playing Gary Morris is shown speaking and it really does appear to be his voice. His acting is really, really off. Kelda Holmes has lots of great scene and delivers her lines brilliantly! I will always stick up for Kelda, sorry Laura.

> Tommy to give her a lift to the shop. I love the way she says the line “Ya rumbled me”, like she was in a black and white 1950s gangster movie and the way that Tommy then replies “That’s right, sweetheart” in the style of Humphrey Bogart.

> The whole thing about ‘what is it that Tommy is famous for’ is funny but also kind of odd, as others have pointed out that it’s so similar to the ‘what did Spike do at the school disco’ scenario from the first episode. For some reason, I always assume that Tommy Anderson is a famous wrestler. Though the actor Jim Sweeney doesn’t look at all like a wrestler.

> One thing I noticed today that struck me as odd, is the brutal haircut that Frazz has. I guess he probably had it from the start, but it really caught my eye today. What’s funny about it, is that particular haircut is very much in fashion at the moment. At least in the UK. It looks absolutely awful on 99 percent of men, but for some reason many men really want to walk around looking like someone just gave them the worst haircut ever. It appears to be a mass delusion, but I digress. Mmoloki Chrystie was rocking this haircut back in 1989.
