Hi Katta,

I just watched and enjoyed your reaction video for INTERFACE.

Watching the episode again with your comments often makes me see things I
had missed
myself.

The scene where Spike and Lynda go to the Mystery Writer's house and Spike
lets Lynda
go in totally alone, seems so reckless of Spike as he is putting Lynda in
potentially harm's way.
Only once you realise later that Spike was in on the whole thing, do you
realise that Spike knows that
Lynda is totally safe.

Knowing that Spike knows all along who the writer is, makes the scene where
he and Lynda are poring over
the clues in the photocopy even more interesting. He lets her figure out
most of the clues herself - the odd/even
numbers and the number of the page itself, but Spike then guides her to the
mention of Laurel Avenue just to
make sure she makes the connection. Very clever of Spike.

As Katta says, in the scene where Billy meets Lynda in his room he tells
Lynda that it was his Dad that
left the clues in and that he didn't want to be unmasked as the Mystery
Writer. I suspect that, as Katta says,
he probably did want to be revealed but maybe subconsciously. His Dad
clearly explains that he feels his son
needs to get out and meet people, and that's why he put the clues in.

Thanks again Katta for making the video.

This is totally off topic, but last Saturday I watched a brilliant Swedish
psychological thriller
called KNOCKING (in Swedish: Knackningar). Have you seen this Katta? It's
superb!

Have a great weekend everybody!
