Hartwood: (interrupts) What is wrong with the windows?

Colin: There's too many of them, sir.

Hartwood: Too many.

Colin: Oh, far too many windows on this level, sir. You see, when you get toomany windows in a row like that, sir, it's kind of like a perforation. Now thenext strong wind the whole building could come tearing along this floor! But,er, don't alarm yourself, sir. 

 

He walks over to the window and measures it.

 

Colin: It's not a danger…yet! Just as long I keep checking that the, er,windows aren't…um… spreading!
