[pressgang] Hello from the void

Still here too - still running the list!  I dip into PG on YouTube now
and again and it still takes my breath away - generally the most
breathless the longer I leave it.  I most recently watched "Holding On"
from the end of Series 3 and whilst the fashions and technology may have
dated terribly it's still sharp, refreshing and very very funny.

It's really nice to see emails from so many of the old gang from the
list's heyday - which I suppose is over 20 years ago now.  Many of us
grown-up and with kids and contemplating introducing it to partners and
offspring.

And a big shout out to Kevin - every day reliably delivering post on his
mail route and then coming to his computer and reliably delivering us a
QOTD.  We're so lucky.

How times change, and yet some things always stay the same.
