Good to watch Photo Finish again and see/read others’ responses.

 

I liked your comment, Katta, about James Armstrong having the same first real name as Spike. I feel like I’d never thought about this before (or perhaps simply forgotten). What I had definitely forgotten was how so early in the show, Spike is already a lot of his time in the newsroom hanging around near Lynda’s desk at the front with Kenny – it surprised me for some reason. I guess maybe because later he has his own desk slightly further away?

 

I did feel like this episode was snappier than the first one. Perhaps with Colin playing a larger part too, there seemed more humour already and good banter amongst the characters.

though in the end I couldn't make it THAT much shorter - 18 minutes instead of 26. I had hoped to get it down to 10, or at least 15. Maybe with more experience. I discovered that it's very hard to cut away bits of Press Gang because people keep talking over each other!
