Julie: Hey! Why not have dinner with me?
 
He looks at her in disbelief.

 

Man: Waitress!

 

Colin turns his head, but Julie grabs hold ofhis face.

  
Julie:  Don't look around.

Colin: Why?
Julie:  Cause I'm talking - it's rude.

Colin: Well, you're strict!

Man:  (toLynda) Waitress! I know you can hear me!

Julie: Eye contact! Manners cost nothing!

Colin: Sorry!
Julie:  So, dinner? (her smiles fades) What's wrong?

Colin: Just wondering what would happen if I didn't finish my dinner orsomething.

Julie: (lets go of his face) Look, let's just have a quiet little meal by thedoor, okay?

 

She takes his hand and leads him over towards atable by the door. The man gets up.

 

Man: (angrily) Waitress!!!

 

Colin turns just as Lynda steps out from behindthe plants. 


Colin: You've invited me for a quiet dinner and Lynda is the waitress? You'regonna kill me, aren't you?

Julie: Not if you clear your plate.
