Hi Katta,
I just watched your reaction video and enjoyed it, as always.
You mention the way that Frazz and Spike were hoping that Jenny would react
to their
shouting. I hadn't thought of that before. So they were assuming that she
would turn
away, so that Kenny could do the switch? That makes sense to me now. I knew
they
were doing it to get a reaction, but I hadn't realised that they were
counting on her turning
away from them. It was a big gamble, but it paid off handsomely.
I forgot to mention in my review a very interesting line by Kenny, when he
on
the roof of the flats with Lynda. He reels off the strange parts of this
story and says
something like "I have to keep telling myself I'm not in a movie," or words
to that effect.
Which of course he is, in a way. Is this a good example of what I think is
described as meta?
adjective: *meta*
1. (of a creative work) referring to itself or to the conventions of its
genre; self-referential.
"the enterprise is inherently ‘meta’, since it doesn't review movies,
for example, it reviews the reviewers who review movies"
Thanks again Katta.
