Lynda:We didn't actually state there was going to be a new supermarket, we just speculated. There was no actual mistake.

Miss Swanson:You mean you're not going to apologize?

Lynda:We will apologize for any error in the article - should there be one.

Miss Swanson:Then I expect to read an apology in your next edition - should there be one.
