Kenny:Yeah, but it's a bit ironic though, isn't it? I mean, we spend all night in the newsroom making a new edition, and we end up printing the old one.

Lynda:True. Just think, Spike, you missed your date for nothing.

Spike:Oh Charlotte! I completely forgot! She must be still asleep in the newsroom!

He gets up. Charlotte walks in and comes over to their table. Spike takes off his sun-glasses, staring at her in astonishment. Her hair is streaked in a multitude of bright colours.

Charlotte:Spike, they told me you were in here. You might have woken me. Listen, I'm going home now, okay? I'll see you next week. It's been...interesting.
