OK - some of the heartfelt goodbye messages literally brought tears to
my eyes, and gave me renewed impetus to look for solutions to the
Sysadmin problems that make running the list almost impossible these
days.

And I think I have finally found a solution - a piece of forum software
called Discourse which has email integrations to make it near-as-dammit
the same as the current Mailman-based setup, but theoretically without
the time-consuming server admin that I wish I had time for. If all goes
well in the next few days you should all get an invite to join that
system; you'll be able to post messages either on the Web or by email
and the QOTD shall continue. I'm 80% sure I can get this to work. I
won't close the list down tomorrow.

It seems the Wellside Leisure Centre isn't closing after all...

Matt.
