Cindy:(her head comes up)I'm not.

Colin:Then why... Are you frightened of your dad? Your dad, does he hit you?

Cindy:He never hits me.

Colin:(reaches out to her) But then why…

Cindy:(shies away) Don't touch me!

He flashes back to previous occasions when she's shied away from touch.

Colin:(realising) Oh, no. Oh, God no. I can't deal with this.
