He grabs the tape from Kenny and puts it in the answer machine.

Tape:Hello, this is Eric Folkestone's private line. Leave your name and message and I'll get back to you.

Coles:(on the phone) Eric, it's Gordon Coles. Look, I've just had a pretty close run thing with that kiddie newspaper lot, I think it would be an idea if we if we both laid low for a while. So let's just cool it on the planning commission thing, until it's all a bit safer, okay? I'll tell you what would be best. Start disposing of all your records of our previous deals. The main of the Wellside Leisure Complex, the two office blocks in Norman Street, of course. And the one in Cresslaw Road, and all the developments on the south side. And all the money that was paid to you, make sure it's all well buried in your accounting...

Lynda walks over to Spike and gives him a kiss. He gazes at her for a moment before walking to the door.

Coles:...Well, anyway, I'll speak to you later, okay?
