Mr Sullivan: Go away, Lynda!

Lynda: (opens the door) How did you know it was me?

Mr Sullivan: Why didn't you go away?

Lynda: (enters) Mind if I come in?

 

Sullivan is standing by the filing cabinet,looking through some papers.  Lynda sitsdown in his chair. 

 

Mr Sullivan: I tried to be clear on that point.

Lynda: Sir, I've been doing some thinking. About this Spike thing.

Mr Sullivan: Lynda, we've had this discussion three times today already. There'sabsolutely no point in waiting until after school so that we can have it again!And don't sit in my chair. 

Lynda: Sorry, sir. Habit. (gets up) How did you know I was sitting in it?

Mr Sullivan: Habit!
